Thank You for Celebrating Juneteenth With Us!
Thank you to the 1,500+ people who found their way to Neptune and Springwood Avenue Park in Asbury Park to celebrate Juneteenth in community with us. It was a beautiful reminder of what happens when people gather in joy, remembrance, and collective hope.
From a special visit and powerful message from lt. gov. Dale Caldwell, who stood on the very stage his father did years ago to pour into this community, to the incredible performers, vendors, and community members who made the event such a success, we are deeply grateful.
A special acknowledgment to our Community Sages, whose wisdom, stories, and presence remind us that freedom is not only something we celebrate, but something we inherit, protect, and pass on. Your legacy grounds us, and your guidance continues to shape the generations rising behind you.
Juneteenth is a celebration of Black freedom, resilience, and possibility. Thank you for helping us honor that legacy. Now let us continue the work together so that the spirit of this past weekend, rooted in justice, joy, and belonging, becomes part of everyday life for all Americans.
